dark clouds at night.
Imagine that you are boarding a flying bus to go all the way to the top of a building to work all day long,
while trying not to spill your coffee.

Happy Halloween, Is that what you’re supposed to say?
I have been running through a beautiful yellow forest in Canada everyday,
I feel very lucky as I observe the forest, as I am exhilarated with magical beauty and the artistry of nature.
Cold grays, kind yellows, soft oranges, some touches of happy green here and there, and some strange magical sense of purple and red. There are millions of shades and tones.
As I run Nature teaches me about colors, and I try to inhale a fraction of it.
I have done this last night inspired by nature itself.

A Gift From My Big shot Music Composer Friend In Hollywood

I got a box of CDS from my big shot,mega talented music composer friend in Hollywood.
A while back he asked me to do 5 Paintings for his music CD ,and its cover.and this is the result.
I wish I could share his name,but I had to blur his name for privacy reasons.
I am really glad to have work with him,and I am sure I will work with him more in near future.
let just say he is working on the 50 percent of major block busters out there.

Well,I had a day off,so I went for biking around my house,I Have been riding all my life on a bicycle,And even though I have a car,I rather bike than drive.It is the best thing.As I biked I was watching some clouds in the sky.And it gave me this idea. for some reason when I came back,I really wanted to draw a dragon VS WWI airplane kind of theme.

This is a concept matte painting that has been inspired while I was listening to an Elvis remix song. You will get an adrenalin rush while listening to this song (Elvis youtube link) and viewing this painting. If you are wondering who is the
fellow with the cat,it is me. The painting itself is 4048 pixels wide. It has been completed in 3 days. On the last day I stayed up 'till 8 in the morning. It is not
a good idea to stay up that late. Here is a close-up from the painting so that you can get an idea of its magnitude.

As usual, I love to hear your version of this painting's story. I love to hear how you felt while listening to the song and viewing this matte concept.

EVE online Bateleur Fighter

The concept for EVE online:
I have created this concept inspired by Bateleur Eagle. A star-ship that can be used in defensive situations or for hit and run. There are two medium size guns which are located on each side and a smaller gun placed at the bottom front. It can carry a crew of 150 men. In order to escape from enemy threat it has four very powerful engines in the back which help the ship to reach the speed of light in just half a second.

note:I have painted the whole image using photoshop,I have just used 3dmax for the 2 foreground spaceships(just a gray rough block with no lighting,which are painted over in photoshop).(Final Image is 2048 pixel wide)

Waterfall of Light(Matte)

Hey Everyone,

I hope you all had a great summer. I just rode my bike around and it gets cold very soon in Canada. This is a concept matte painting based on a speed painting that I did a while back. It was done just for fun but I noticed it got a lot of attention. It’s like one of those happy accidents. So, I reproduced it into a full matte painting. I kept it saturated to give it a feeling of romance in the big noisy sci-fi city; a lover’s memory, New York City with all the jazz, you name it. I have used Photoshop for 95 percent of the image except for the two foreground buildings on the far right and far left which have been modeled using 3D Max. Then, I have painted over the 3D objects fully in Photoshop. The final image is 4096 pixels wide.

Venetian Dream

I had a vision of this image in my mind for a long time. It's from a story that I am working on right now. I am a big fan of any architecture that is associated with bodies of water. I started to look at a lot of Italian architecture to do this matte concept.
I also entered a contest on this subject which was hosted by Bobby Chiu(Alice in wonderland concept artist) and judged by Dylan Cole(Avatar concept art director).
Due to lack of time, it had a lot of flaws but I still managed to win it.;). After that, I worked on it for a day to finish it off. It was 100% completed in Photoshop
with no use of 3D.it has completed in a time period of 3 days. My thanks to Dylan Cole and Bobby Chiu for the contest.(Photoshop.3010 pixels wide)
